WPI Graduate Business International Study Trip to China ? Summer ...

by WPI School of Business

The WPI School of Business is pleased to offer our graduate students a chance to learn first-hand about Doing Business in China.? With our partner university, Hangzhou Dianzi University, we have structured a 9-day trip to China (May 5-May 13, 2012) that will combine seminars on business-related topics; visits to Chinese companies; interactions with Chinese executives and Americans living and working in China; and tours of some of China?s many historical sites.

We have been able to keep the cost very affordable; in addition to tuition, the cost is $1600 (U.S.) plus airfare.? We are going early in the travel season; roundtrip flights between Logan and Shanghai are approx. $1200-$1400.

There are two ways to participate in this fantastic opportunity: 1) as a 3-credit course, where you will be assigned readings prior to the trip and will submit a research paper following your travels; 2) as a non-credit international experience, where you would just pay the $1,600 plus airfare, but would not incur tuition costs nor receive credit.

We need to hear from you by March 30 if you will be traveling with us. Email Norm Wilkinson? @ nwilkins@WPI.EDU
